Water and Shore
Scarborough at NightPreviousNext
A wild stormy night in November.
My wife and I were in Scarborough for a week’s dancing festival and I managed to get some time off to wander with the camera. Gale force easterly winds were driving the tide in high against the sea wall. You can see the ‘fun of the fair’ curving away in the distance. We did not know it at the time, but a few weeks later we were to see the coldest December since records began and the east coast of England was to see heavy snowfall.
