Olive tree shadows make an interesting striped pattern

As part of a cycling holiday in south west Tuscany, we stayed at this vineyard and olive farm. This track is one of the many ‘Strada Bianca’ or white roads that are part of the Tuscan landscape. Here the low evening sun created an almost ‘ladder’ effect, with the shadows laid across the track up to the farmhouse in the distance.
