Dried Out
PreviousNext
A split toned study of an old gate sinking in the mud.
The local reservoir had to be drained for maintenance work near the main sluice gates which allowed features normally hidden underwater to be revealed. The mud made wonderful patterns but it was only dry and firm on its surface and one had to be very light footed not to sink too far in.
