Clarebrand View
PreviousNext
The trees and dry stane dykes flow up and across the underlying hills.
The landscape in Dumfries and Galloway has areas of wonderful gently rolling hills. Mainly given to pasture for animals, these smooth contours are crossed with dry stone walls or 'dykes' to enclose each owner's fields. Not far from the small village of Clarebrand this view can be seen with Loch Ken out of sight to the right.
