Spring is a wonderful time...

A stroll around Carlingwark Loch in Castle Douglas one fine spring morning gave the viewer plenty to watch as the local swans went about their annual courtship activities!

Sometimes they would be quite boisterous, other times, like in this picture it would be more like a ballroom dance.

I tried here to capture a unique monent.
