The religion shines through the plastic sheeting whilst the renovation work continues.

Entering the church dedicated to St Francesco near Montefollonico in Tuscany, there was immediate disappointment with everything covered in plastic sheeting as much of the stonework was undergoing restoration.

But amidst all the dust and debris, people would still come in and pray, kneeling in the dust to look where the light still shone at the altar.
