Vista Service Pack 1

This update has been designed in the main to address specific reliability, performance and compatibiltiy issues.

The update itself is some 435 MB, so you really don't want to try downloading it over a dial up connection!

At the time of writing there were serious issues with applying this service pack if you tried to install it on an HP PC. I've not heard the latest on this but whatever your PC, I would ask you to check first with your manufacturer and also read the guidance from Microsoft which you can find by clicking here
